Sedum praealtum
This plant is a succulent shrub or subshrub native to central and eastern Mexico. Its branched stems carry fleshy, bright green leaves with rounded tips, sometimes tinged red along the margins. Large, branching clusters contain many star-like yellow flowers, usually with five narrow, pointed petals and yellow stamens. Detached leaves root readily, and stem cuttings also produce new plants. Photographed in Bogotá, Colombia.
