Sedum mexicanum small yellow star shaped flowers above dense narrow succulent green leaves

Sedum mexicanum

Sedum mexicanum is a low branching succulent native from Mexico into Central America. Slender stems carry narrow fleshy leaves arranged densely around the shoots. Small yellow star-shaped flowers have five pointed petals and arise in terminal clusters above the foliage. Broken stems root readily where they contact suitable ground. Research-grade observations document the species in Ecuador and Panama. Photographed in Colombia.
