Sedum mexicanum
This plant is a low, branching succulent perennial native from Mexico to Guatemala. Slender, spreading stems carry narrow fleshy green leaves, usually arranged in whorls of four. Small yellow star-shaped flowers have five pointed petals and arise in branching terminal clusters above the foliage. The smooth stems form dense mats. Photographed in Colombia.
