Scutellaria incarnata

Native to northern Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela, this is a shrub in the Lamiaceae family. One of eighteen native species of the genus Scutellaria with a habitat between 1,500 and 8,500 feet. Photographed in the department of Quindio, Colombia.
