Sclerochiton harveyanus

An evergreen shrub native to southern Africa, Sclerochiton harveyanus grows in forest margins and wooded habitats. Large pale blue to lavender flowers have a broad fanlike lower lip divided into rounded lobes and a smaller hooded upper section. Glossy opposite leaves cluster around the upright flowering shoots.
