Schnella (species unidentified)

Native from Mexico through tropical America, this genus includes woody vines and scrambling shrubs. Members of the bean family, these plants climb with tendrils. Most species grow in wet tropical rainforest, including seasonally flooded and upland forest. Others occur in seasonally dry forest or savanna. Photographed in Colombia.
