Schinus terebinthifolia

Schinus terebinthifolia is an evergreen shrub or small tree native to eastern South America. Compound leaves have several glossy leaflets, and branching clusters contain many small cream flowers. Numerous round fruits mature from green to bright red and persist in dense groups. Research-grade observations document the species in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Photographed in Colombia.
