Schinus molle

An evergreen tree native to western and southern South America, Schinus molle has a broad crown of drooping branches and narrow divided leaves. Small pale flowers develop into dense hanging clusters of round pink to red fruits. The flexible leafy branches give the mature tree a soft, cascading outline. Photographed in the Sacred Valley, Peru.
