Scaevola aemula
The Fairy Fan-Flower, indigenous to Australia's dry sclerophyll forests, is known for its mat-forming growth and ability to thrive in sandy soils with fan-shaped flowers predominantly in shades of blue, mauve, or white, with a distinct yellow center. Recognized for its resilience, it is well-adapted to sunny or semi-shaded locales, can withstand salt spray, and is tolerant of dry spells. The species is notable for a plethora of cultivars.
