Sauvagesia erecta

Sauvagesia erecta is a small annual or perennial herb native across tropical America. Slender stems carry narrow toothed leaves and delicate flowers with five white to pale pink petals. Inside the petals, a conspicuous ring of staminodes surrounds the central reproductive structures. Research-grade observations document the species in Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, and Peru.
