Sarracenia 'Judith Hindle'
Sarracenia ‘Judith Hindle’ is a cultivated carnivorous pitcher-plant hybrid. Its upright leaves are modified into tubular traps with flared hoods, red veins, pale translucent areas, and a nectar-bearing rim. Insects that enter the slippery pitchers encounter downward-pointing hairs and digestive fluid. Separate flower stalks arise from the underground rhizome before or alongside new pitchers. Photographed in Florida.
