Sanchezia longiflora

Sanchezia longiflora is a tropical shrub native to Ecuador. Large opposite leaves have prominent veins, while terminal clusters carry elongated tubular flowers held among colorful bracts. The corolla tubes project beyond the bracts and end in small spreading lobes. The species is associated with humid tropical forest vegetation. Research-grade observations document it in Ecuador.
