Sambucus canadensis

Sambucus canadensis is a deciduous shrub native to eastern North America and parts of Central America. Opposite compound leaves have toothed leaflets, while broad flat-topped clusters contain many small white flowers. The flowers are followed by groups of dark purple-black berries on reddish stalks.
