Salvia Snow Hill dense upright spike of white two-lipped flowers and green calyces

Salvia × sylvestris 'Snow Hill'

A compact cultivated perennial sage, Salvia × sylvestris ‘Snow Hill’ forms a basal clump of aromatic leaves beneath upright flower spikes. Numerous white two-lipped flowers open in dense whorls along each stem, while pointed green calyces remain visible between them. The branching display rises clearly above the foliage. Photographed in Florida.
