Salvia 'Love and Wishes'

Salvia ‘Love and Wishes’ is a cultivated ornamental sage selected for its extended display of richly colored flowers. Dark burgundy stems carry green leaves and long spikes of magenta-purple two-lipped corollas set in persistent wine-colored calyces. New flowers continue opening toward the stem tips, while the colored calyces maintain the visual structure of the inflorescence after individual corollas fall. Photographed in Florida.
