Sagittaria latifolia

Sagittaria latifolia is an aquatic perennial native across much of the Americas. Arrow-shaped leaves rise above shallow water or saturated soil, while upright flower stalks carry whorls of white three-petaled blossoms with yellow centers. Underground tubers store energy and allow the plant to spread. The species inhabits marshes, ponds, ditches, and slow-moving water and provides cover and food for wetland wildlife.
