A naturally occurring sterile intergeneric hybrid, originating from Rhodesia, Africa. It is a cross between Ruspolia hypocrateriformis and Ruttya ovata, both African species. The shrub has a long blooming period with dusky-rose colored flowers and can tolerate a short freeze. Photographed in central Florida.
