Ruta graveolens

An evergreen perennial native to southeastern Europe, Ruta graveolens forms a branching mound of strongly aromatic blue-green leaves. Clusters of yellow flowers have four or five concave petals with fringed margins surrounding a prominent green ovary. Rounded seed capsules develop above the finely divided foliage after flowering.
