Rhaphiolepis indica

Rhaphiolepis indica is an evergreen shrub native from southern China through parts of tropical Asia. Leathery oval leaves form dense branching growth, and spring flower clusters carry five-petaled white to pink blossoms with numerous stamens. Rounded fruits mature after flowering. The species is widely planted in warm landscapes because it tolerates pruning, coastal conditions, and moderate drought. Research-grade observations document it in Colombia. Photographed in Colombia.
