Psammisia guianensis

Native to northern South America, it is a shrub in the Ericaceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 1,700 to 3,700 feet. It develops branching woody stems and dense foliage, with white and orange flowers arranged singly or in inflorescences. Photographed in Colombia.
