Prosthechea grammatoglossa

Native to Bolivia, northern Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, it is an orchid in the Orchidaceae family. Documented elevations extend from about 2,450 to 7,000 feet. Its foliage supports flowers on one or more flowering stems, with the floral form providing the principal identifying feature. Photographed in Colombia.
