Prosthechea chacaoensis


An epiphytic orchid native from Mexico and Central America into northern South America, Prosthechea chacaoensis grows on trees in warm, humid forests. Its clustered flowers have narrow cream to pale green segments and a prominently veined white lip. The upright stems carry thick leaves and emerge from clustered pseudobulbs.
