Prosthechea brassavolae
Prosthechea brassavolae is a pseudobulbous epiphytic orchid native from Mexico through Central America. Narrow leaves rise from compact pseudobulbs, and arching flower stems carry several pale green to yellow flowers with narrow, curling segments and contrasting white lips. The species grows primarily in wet tropical forest. Research-grade observations document it in Ecuador and Panama. Photographed in Colombia.
