A small tree, native to Central America and North South America. Its long tubular white flowers emit a notable appealing fragrance. Appears to be difficult to propagate by cuttings and grows slowly by seed. A lone plant in the front yard of a vacant house that was eventually destroyed. Photographed in Barranquilla, Colombia.
