Plumbago caerulea

Plumbago caerulea is a scrambling subshrub native from northwestern Venezuela through western South America to northern Argentina. Slender stems carry small blue flowers with five spreading lobes and narrow floral tubes. Sticky glandular hairs on the calyx can help fruits attach to animals.
