Plumbago auriculata

A flowering shrub indigenous to South Africa and Mozambique. The species is adorned with flowers that can present in pale blue, blue, violet, or even white and deep blue variations, and is capable of blooming throughout the year under optimal conditions. The plants have received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. As an ornamental, it is now widely established in tropical and subtropical regions.
