Pleurothallis prolaticollaris
Pleurothallis prolaticollaris is an epiphytic orchid associated with humid Andean forest in Ecuador. Each slender stem carries a single thick leaf, and the small flower emerges close to the leaf surface. Yellow sepals form a compact triangular outline around the central floral structures. Research-grade observations document the exact species in Ecuador, where the plant grows attached to woody supports in moist conditions. Photographed in Colombia.
