Playa Blanca Santa Marta, Colombia
This beach is located between El Rodadero and Santa Marta, nestled in a small cove that is only accessible by boat or by foot via a steep trail from Rodadero. It is one of the most popular day-trip beaches in the area, especially on weekends and holidays, when it becomes very crowded. The beach features calm, shallow waters, making it suitable for swimming and snorkeling. Just offshore are small rock formations and coral patches that attract tropical fish, and snorkeling gear is available for rent on-site. Numerous informal restaurants and vendors line the narrow beach, selling fried fish, coconut rice, and drinks. Sunshades and chairs are available for rent.
