Native to Venezuela and Colombia, this tropical terrestrial species produces yellow or red flower. Its inflorescence is a branched panicle with woolly sepals covered in small tubercles, giving a hairy appearance. at about 4,250 feet. ​ Photographed in Cauca Valley, Colombia.
