Pitcairnia Coral Horizon arching red inflorescence extending across broad strap-shaped leaves

Pitcairnia 'Coral Horizon'

Pitcairnia ‘Coral Horizon’ is a cultivated bromeliad selection grown for its long arching inflorescence and saturated coral-red floral bracts. The individual flowers emerge at intervals along the slender red axis, while the plant forms a rosette of broad strap-shaped leaves. The cultivar name distinguishes this ornamental selection from naturally occurring Pitcairnia species. Photographed in Florida.
