Picea pungens 'Glauca Globosa'

Picea pungens is an evergreen conifer native to the central and southern Rocky Mountains of the United States. ‘Glauca Globosa’ is a compact, slow-growing ornamental selection that develops a dense rounded to broadly conical form and retains strongly blue-gray needles. Young seed cones are upright before maturing and hanging from the branches. Photographed in Lima, Peru.
