Native to Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, this is a tree in the Phyllanthaceae family. One of thirty-three native Colombian species of the genus Phyllanthus with a habitat between 5,500 and 12,000 feet. A tree photographed in the eastern Andes mountain range of Colombia.
