Phyllanthus arbuscula

Phyllanthus arbuscula is a woody shrub or small tree endemic to Jamaica. Its slender branchlets carry simple leaves arranged in two ranks, giving each shoot the appearance of a compound leaf. Minute flowers develop in the leaf axils and are followed by small rounded fruits. The species belongs to a large tropical genus whose members show unusually varied growth forms.
