Phoradendron nervosum

Phoradendron nervosum is a tropical mistletoe that grows as a woody parasite on the branches of host trees. It obtains water and minerals through specialized connections while producing its own sugars in green leaves. Small flowers and fruits are arranged along jointed spikes.
