Philodendron bipinnatifidum
Philodendron bipinnatifidum is a large scrambling shrub native from eastern Bolivia through southern and southeastern Brazil to northeastern Argentina. It develops a stout stem and a broad crown of deeply divided glossy leaves. Mature plants produce a thick spadix enclosed by a green-and-cream spathe. The species is widely cultivated as a dramatic foliage plant in warm climates. Photographed in Florida.
