Phaedranassa dubia cluster of hanging coral pink tubular flowers with green yellow tips

Phaedranassa dubia

Phaedranassa dubia is a bulb-forming herb native from southern Colombia to Ecuador. It grows in wet tropical Andean habitats, including Colombian elevations of about 6,600 to 9,400 feet. A leafless stalk supports an umbel of hanging tubular flowers colored coral-red with pale green and yellow tips. Research-grade observations document the species in both Colombia and Ecuador. Photographed in Colombia.
