Petraeovitex bambusetorum
Petraeovitex bambusetorum is a wet-tropical liana native to Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo. The woody vine climbs through surrounding vegetation and produces hanging clusters of yellow bracts around small pale flowers. It belongs to the mint family despite its vine-like growth and very different floral display. The species is cultivated in tropical gardens for its pendant golden inflorescences. Photographed in Florida.
