Passiflora trisecta

Passiflora trisecta is an Andean climbing passionflower recorded in Peru. The vine uses tendrils for support and bears pale flowers whose narrow segments spread around a compact green-and-pink central column. Its floral structure is less dominated by long corona filaments than many familiar passionflowers. The species is associated with montane vegetation in western South America. Photographed in Colombia.
