Passiflora tarminiana (Banana Passionfruit)
Native to Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, southeastern Mexico, southwestern Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela, this is a vine in the Passifloraceae family. It is a vigorous fruiting vine of upland habitats that can become invasive. The flowers, adorned in a delightful pink hue with a fruit usually mixed with milk for a juice. Photographed in the eastern Andes mountain range of Colombia.
