Passiflora brachyantha

Passiflora brachyantha is an Ecuadorian member of the passionflower family. It is a climbing flowering plant adapted to tropical Andean conditions, using tendrils to gain support among nearby vegetation. The flower has thick pink segments surrounding a compact central structure, giving it a form distinct from passionflowers with long filamentous coronas. Photographed in Colombia.
