Paphiopedilum Superbly Wood

Developed by Lehua Orchids from Superb Fred and Delightfully Wood, this perennial hybrid slipper orchid has large flowers with spreading, speckled petals and a prominent pouch. Cultivated selections include rich pink and burgundy tones. Selected plants have received American Orchid Society awards for flower quality. It grows as a succession of leaf fans, and division of a mature clump preserves the characteristics of a selected plant. Photographed in Florida.
