Paphiopedilum Clair de Lune 'Edgard van Belle'

Developed in cultivation, this perennial hybrid slipper orchid belongs to the Clair de Lune grex, a cross between Emerald and Alma Gevaert. Its pale flower has a broad, striped upper sepal above a cream to yellow-green pouch. Plants grow as compact fans of leathery leaves and produce new fans alongside older growths. This named selection is maintained through vegetative propagation. Photographed in Florida.
