Native to Peru and other lowland regions of Central and South America, the golden shrimp plant is a tropical evergreen shrub known for its striking yellow bracts and white flowers. This plant has been recognized by the Royal Horticultural Society, earning the Award of Garden Merit for its garden-worthy features. Photographed in Colombia.
