Oncostele Wildcat 'Green Valley'

Of cultivated intergeneric hybrid origin, this orchid belongs to the Oncidium alliance. Its branching flower stalks carry numerous blossoms with yellow segments heavily marked by dark reddish-brown patches. Broad pale lips provide a contrasting central feature. The plant grows from a succession of pseudobulbs. Photographed in Florida.
