Oncidium luteopurpureum

Endemic to Colombia, it is an epiphytic orchid of the Andes that grows on trees and develops swollen stems called pseudobulbs. Its yellow sepals and petals bear wine-red markings. The sepals have wavy margins, while the petals are slightly fringed. The yellow lip has a wine-red central patch and raised teeth that can be white at their tips and yellow nearer the base.
