Oncidium Gower Ramsey

Developed in cultivation from Goldiana and Guinea Gold, this perennial hybrid orchid is widely grown for its branching sprays of yellow flowers. Brown markings contrast with the broad, bright yellow lips. It is an important cut-flower orchid, valued for stems carrying many blossoms. Mature plants form clumps of pseudobulbs, the swollen stems that store water and nutrients. Photographed in Florida.
