Oenothera biennis (Common Evening Primrose)

Native to Alabama, Alberta, Arkansas, British Columbia, California, and Connecticut and nearby regions, this is an herbaceous plant in the Onagraceae family. Colombia has four native species of the genus Oenothera, but this is not one of them. Photographed in Bogotá.
