Odontonema strictum hybrid

This ornamental shrub is a hybrid of Odontonema strictum. It produces small white blossoms arranged along an upright stalk, with long fine white filaments extending well beyond their mouths. Odontonema belongs to the acanthus family, Acanthaceae, whose members include many tropical flowering shrubs. Photographed in Florida.
