Orange and cream Neomoorea wallisii orchid flowers form a loose cluster along an arching green stalk

Neomoorea wallisii

Native from Panama to western Colombia, this pseudobulb-forming epiphytic orchid grows in humid tropical forests. Orange and cream flowers develop along long arching stalks. Broad segments curve around a conspicuous central lip, creating an open, cupped appearance. In Colombia, it grows between about 160 and 4,800 feet across the Pacific region and adjacent Andean slopes. Photographed in Colombia.
