Nematanthus wettsteinii (Goldfish Plant)

Native to southeastern Brazil and southern Brazil, this is a succulent in the Gesneriaceae family. Its natural demeanor is that of an epiphyte, growing on other plants for support, yet not drawing nutrients from them. However, its domestic persona is in hanging baskets, where its trailing and branching habit comes to the fore. Photographed in Bogotá, Colombia.
